NSGP FY24 Awardees 10/2/24 Webinar

Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP), the SAA, hosted two webinar opportunities for FY24 NSGP Awardees giving an overview of awardee responsibilities, and providing a time for attendees to ask questions. To review the slide deck and recordings please visit our subrecipients page.

September 17: FEMA has released official funding decisions, and all applicants should have received a notification one way or the other.

  • Thanks to everyone who submitted. We received 97 applications from 65 organizations requesting more than $11.1 million in funding.
  • Of those submitted, 24 applications from 23 organizations received funding, totaling $3.1 million.

Didn't Receive Funding?

Please do not be discouraged. We feel it was a matter of many great applications competing for a small portion of funding. Hopefully, all applicants learned something about their security vulnerabilities and risks through the process of applying, even if not funded.

We encourage you to re-apply in FY25, giving you time to review, bolster your application and seek feedback from our team. We will begin the education phase again in January 2025.
