Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)

Thanks to everyone who submitted an FY23 application by the April 7th deadline. All applications received within the deadline have been successfully submitted to FEMA.

Program guidance indicates that FEMA must advise the states of awards no later than September 1, 2023. Our team will reach out to each applicant as soon as we know. There is no need to periodically check in on the status of your application.

This is a competitive process. We received over $10.4 million in applications competing for an allocation of $2.25 million. Not everyone will be awarded.

What can you do now? Prepare for next steps or improve your application for next year. You may use the recordings, assessment tools, and resources on this website to start preparing for an FY24 application. Monitor this website throughout the year for the latest information.
